Wine from Chile – Best Chilean Wine Online!

One of the oldest New World wine regions to produce wine, Chilean wine production began back in the 1500s when Spanish conquistadors colonized the region, bringing vines to the land.  Vineyards grew quickly and Chile now is considered the 5th largest exporter of wine.  Grapes grown in the Chilean vineyards are said to be similar to the French and Californian types, as the climates are quite similar.

Concha y Toro Wine – Montes Wine

A very well-known label of Chilean wine, Concha y Toro wine spans a large sector of Chile’s vineyard – with production throughout most of the top wine regions; Maipo, Maule, Rapel, Colchagua, Curico and Casablanca.  The Concha y Toro wine label has been creating some of the best Chilean wine for over a century, since 1883.

Another top Chile wine producer, Montes premium wines, got a little later start than the Concha y Toro producers; however, have gained significant ground.  The Montes wine bottles have received numerous awards since the start of the label back in 1987.  For a lovely and award-winning bottle of wine from Chile, try out a glass of Montes wine.
