This wine is a bright and concentrated violet red in the glass, with a matching nose of fresh plums and red and black berries of many varieties, complimented by notes of eucalyptus, pink peppercorns, cinnamon and dried herbs. It is as pleasing in the mouth as it is on the nose, with notes of red and black fruits dancing across the palate, contrasted by an almost balsamic-like arrangement of herbs and freshly turned, sun-kissed and mineral-rich soil, which helps provide depth and complexity. The fruity, fresh palate is further balanced by the well-measured acidity and silky texture. The finish is almost clingy, with leafy herbs and mineral notes persistently refusing to let you go just yet.
