The palate really shines with cooler notes of blue fruits, black currants, mint, flint, licorice and just a touch of toastiness. It is appealingly dense in flavor on the palate, but not overly heavy in weight, the already melted tannins make this wonderfully accessible and a long-lasting finish that stretches long after your last sip.
