Bright, ruby red in the glass. On the nose, intense red fruit notes of raspberry and cherry are supported by a complex blend of dried spices. On the palate, those same fruits reappear: smooth, fresh notes of bright red cherries, red raspberries and cassis are balanced by the acidity which peaks over the fruit briefly before settling into the mix. The old vine fruit generates grippy yet powdery tannins, a smooth texture which leads to a finish of red fruit and white pepper.
