Dark in color and character: The nose is packed to the brim with notes of dark chocolate, black cherry, melted licorice, loamy forest floor, olives, and cigar box. On the chewy (not heavy) palate, the flavors of blackberry, cassis, blueberry, basil toasted spices, mocha and orange zest tantalize alongside grippy tannins kept in balance by a vibrant acidity. Though this somewhat raw character seems like a lot, the wine nevertheless remains firm and focused, with a tasty, savory finish that invites you back for another glass.
Made from 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Syrah.
