Highlights of purple grace the rim of the dark crimson wine in the glass. On the nose, aromas of black plums and freshly juiced cherries are joined by notes of leather, graphite and garrigue. On the palate, the generous flavors of dark berries and red fruits contrast nicely with the notes of baking spices, leather and just a touch of white pepper. This airy, medium-bodied palate is supported by light, silky smooth tannins and a refreshing acidity that helps to show off the true varietal character of Merlot.
