This Cremant de Loire, a blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, overdelivers on every front: The gently frothy mousse helps lift notes of lemon, quince , followed by notes of flinty minerality, a touch of bread dough and the lightest dusting of citrus zest on the nose, which leads well into a soil-driven palate with a core of fresh cut green apple and pear tart flavors. The nicely balanced, medium-body is followed by a long, bright, bouncy finish of stony soil, bread notes, and lemon oil.
