100% Tempranillo aged 5 months in American oak cask and the 4 years more in the bottle. The wine has scents if dark red berries, cocoa powder, savory herb and sweet spice. On the palate, expansiveness to the spiced blackberry and raspberry fruit, dark chocolate and sweet tobacco flavors. Finishes with a pop of fruit and cocoa and gently grippy tannins, definitely gusty and bold without being heavy or hard.
Intense color with violet hues, clean fresh fruity flavors with some hints of wood ageing and varietal notes. The structure in the mouth is well developed with the long persistent finish. An amazing wine for this level of quality and price point! A 100% Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) the most widely planted red variety in the Toro region.
