Spicy aromas of cracked pine and pitch are woven through a blanket of ripe cherry, plum and other dark fruit notes. On the palate, the fruit is bolstered by notes of strawberry and blackberry, paired with notes of incense and new leather as well as subtle, whisper-like nuances of cedar and vanilla. The velvety texture and full body are complimented by an elegantly balanced tannin structure and outstandingly lengthy finish, further cementing it’s aging potential.
