A concentrated, robust full-bodied red wine with classic notes of red cassis, graphite with excellent tannic structure. The wine-making duo, Rachel and Guillaume Hubert, have a long history of winemaking. Their family have been making wine since the 17th century, putting six generations of experience behind them. Their production has been biodynamic since 2000 (which is not easy in a Bordeaux). They use indigenous yeasts and keep their yields astonishingly low. This wine comes from clay and gravel soil in the Côtes de Bourg, which brings out supple fruit and spicy notes.
