Pale yellow in color, with green reflections dancing across the rim. On the nose, aromas of Sicilian cedar (the citrus fruit, not the tree), orchard fruits, lemon and orange zest bounce playfully against notes of wet slate, freshly cut hay, sage and fresh tennis balls. On the palate, fruity notes of orange, green apple, lemon, melons, white peach and apricots are balanced and slightly mellowed by the mineral salinity, green herbaceousness and hints of vanilla. Fresh and persistent acidity helps all the flavors harmonize before transitioning to a bright finish of orange pith and hazelnut.
