A vividly sunny and fascinating example of this varietal. The nose is like your favorite citrusy cocktail served alongside a well-put-together charcuterie board, with notes of lemon, grapefruit, and white flowers accompanying notes of mixed nuts laid on a bed of cedar wood, all dusted with a sprinkling of pepper. On the palate, the generous amount of acid accentuates the citrus fruitiness of the nose, as well as bringing out even more of the salinity and nuttiness found there as well. Flavorful and well composed, the finish is marked by green notes of herbs that create a pleasant oily sapidity that lingers.
